OUR BACKGROUND Bill and Jenny Welsh began working with the Cambodian people in 1980, helping to resettle refugees in Melbourne and supporting them through housing, employment, schooling and hospital visits. In 1985 - 86 Bill undertook a project trip to the border camps and then later entered Cambodia when it was opened up. After many trips into Cambodia over a twenty year period, we established ProjectMac, a not-for-profit, Christian organisation, in 2006. The administration of ProjectMac is financed entirely by the team allowing 100% of all donations to go directly to nominated projects, with full accountability. Matthew 25:34-40 "...'I was hungry and you fed me I was thirsty and you gave me a drink, I was homeless and you gave me a room,
I was shivering and you gave me clothes, I was sick and you stopped to visit,
I was in prison and you came to me.' ...'Whenever you did one of these things to someone overlooked or ignored, that was me—you did it to me.' " ( The Message)
